I went to visit some friends in London last weekend and awesomeness ensued!

I arrived on Thursday night and met for tea with [livejournal.com profile] verityburns and [livejournal.com profile] arianedevere on Friday. It was awesome to finally meet them both! :)

We went on to see 'Much Ado About Nothing' with David Tennant and Catherine Tate, which was hilarious! I laughed so hard things started to hurt.
We were in the front row, meaning we were so close that DT actually spat on me. *lol*
And he looked fabulous! Can I just say: his SHOES!?!

On Saturday we tried to meet with [livejournal.com profile] santheum for brunch which proved to be a little difficult. ;-)
But we managed in the end. It was too short, we definitely have to do that again! Maybe this time we will actually get into the Breakfast Club?

Verity, Ari and I went on to
and then to Regent's Park where we checked out the bridges she used in her stories.

We met with more friendly people and re-enacted 'A Study in Pink'. *har*

On Sunday I went to see an exhibition in the British Library about SciFi books. Frankenstein was mentioned a lot, whiche amused me to no end.

I went to the

to see 'Emperor and Galilean'. Not sure this is my kind of play, I mean the actors were all fabulous and the coat was pretty amazing, but the story and the characters were a little too crazy for my taste. Me don't know...

Funny thing: Benedict Cumberbatch and Mark Gatiss were in the audience as well. Apparently more of the Sherlock cast were there, but I did not see them. I would have loved to see Martin Freeman. :)
