Sherlock tried to ignore the grim atmosphere that was rather unusual for their home. If he hadn’t been emotionally invested in the whole affair, he would’ve been fascinated by the way John’s feelings went from anger and hurt and rejection to guilt and self-hate for hurting Sherlock with his accusations. So many different shades of pain.

John was cluttering around in the kitchen, now and then Sherlock could hear him take a breath as if he was about to speak, but he never did.

Sherlock decided that he could stand it no longer. He would go to the Yard and see if Lestrade had something to distract him. He got up and turned around, only to nearly run into John, who obviously just had decided that it was time to talk.

“Molly called. Please don’t be angry with her, she just wanted to help.”

Sherlock wasn’t sure he’d even have the strength to be angry at Molly right now.

John looked to the floor. “I’m sorry. I acted immature and unfair and I shouldn’t have said the things I said. But sometimes I look at you and I don’t understand what you see in me. So I get insecure because I fear that I might lose you. And then I take everything the wrong way and I get mean and belligerent.”

Oh, btw, I'm really confused, please help. Since I'm doing two seperate story-lines right now (challenge and Advent Calendar), to what should I link from where? Should I link to the previous post, which has nothing to do with the one I'm posting? Should I link from the 221Bs to 221Bs only and from Advent fics to Advent fics only? Should I link to both?
I hope at least some of you could follow my rambling. If you did, please tell me what you would prefer. :)

Well, purely personally I'd prefer you kept your own 221Bs and the joint effort separate, otherwise it'll just be confusing. The Advent thing is a continuing story, so those who are following it can follow those links without suddenly finding themselves in a totally different story which doesn't make sense.

[Edit: ... doesn't make sense to the Advent story, not doesn't make sense in itself!]

Oh, I'm glad John repented. I think Sherlock was being very, very good with what he said, but it's brilliant to have John making mistakes, screwing up. He's no relationship magician, any more than most people are!

How can you use the word grim in a Sherlock fic after this Reichenbach thing? It's angst-inducing! :D

Oh. Well. All right, then. Anarion, you're unfair, how can I be angry with John if he behaved this way because he felt insecure? You know I can't resist insecure!John! Not to mention when there's make up sex on the horizon... *sighs* I forgive you John. After all it's nearly Christmas and everything.

I agree with Ariane, Atlin and Verity, I think it's more logical and much more practical if you link the 221Bs to the 221Bs and the Advent fics to the Advent fics. Also, yay for day 200! Courage, only 165 days left now! :D

I agree with Ariane, Atlin, Verity and Chocolamousse... definitely link 221bs to 221bs and Advent to Advent. Especially since I think the advent should link to the previous Advent story, which won't actually be yours... I feel like that makes far more sense.
