Advent Calender: Day 5
Dec. 5th, 2011 12:36 pmThis is day five of the Advent calendar filled with 221Bs, brought to you by
Apart from the overall Christmasy theme we decided to refer to the previous 221B so that there will be a story in the end. Let's see how that works out.
A happy pre-Christmas season to all of you! :)
Day 4 by the fabulous days_of_storm here
Day five
A few months ago Sherlock was bored and invented a game. Either he or John had to use a word the other came up with at least three times a day. In a conversation with other people. Without laughing or giving anything away.
Sherlock should’ve been better at it, but for some reason he wasn’t. He came up with a lot of scientific words and John delivered them with such confidence that people never questioned him.
John, however, gave Sherlock common words he would never use if he could avoid it, like awesome, polygamy or fanboy. His absolute favourite until now is sweetie-pie, though. Hearing Sherlock use that three times made him laugh so hard that he was sure he unhinged his diaphragm. Yes, he knows that isn’t possible in a medical sense.
Sometimes, when he was particularly annoyed with Sherlock, John stooped low and played unfair. He took a perfectly innocent word and whispered it in Sherlock’s ear while slowly fucking him. Sherlock would uninevitably blush and stutter every time he used that word.
They hadn’t played this particular game for some time, so John was completely unprepared when Sherlock took his sweet revenge for being called ‘horribly adorable’.
That morning, when he came down for breakfast, Sherlock grinned at him.
“I have a new word for you, sweetie-pie: baboon.”

Date: 2011-12-05 06:45 pm (UTC)What I like most in this 221b is that, for Sherlock, the idea of polygamy is as horrible as the word awesome. :D And I rather *coughs* like the smutty bit, too (John is an awful manipulator but I love him nevertheless). And I'd really like to see Sherlock blushing and stuttering, it must be a sight to see. I'm looking forward to what will happen with baboon !
I hope you feel better today ! :-)

Date: 2011-12-06 11:44 pm (UTC)My niece's favorite book from the toddler stage on was Stan and Jan Bernstein's Big Book of B and I think one of the lines is "Big beautiful baboon."
Sans the sex part, my office mate and I used to have a word or sound for the day and we would get points for using it in student conferences. One time it was the Zip it noise and gesture inspired by one of the Austin Power movies. Matt would get me every time. He would make it and I would shut up until he couldn't hold in his laughter anymore.
You took me to such a happy place, remembering that game.
