[livejournal.com profile] lucybun wrote a great story about John and Sherlock fighting. That reminded me of a 221B I wrote some time ago and never posted. I thought I'd share it with you.

Title: Sometimes it's not about winning
Words: 221
Rating: PG
Warnings:
Pairings : Sherlock/John
Disclaimer: Sadly the characters are not mine and no money is made (that would be sooo cool!).

John opened his eyes and blinked. There was a faint taste of blood in his mouth and his muscles already started to ache. His gaze swept over the destruction in their flat.

He remembered banging against the kitchen table, tumbling one of Sherlock's experiments to the ground with a crashing sound and splintering glass. He remembered shouting and cursing and hitting his head on the door frame at one point. And then of course he knocked Sherlock to the floor in a tangle of limbs.

Sherlock had been so very angry with him. And the fact that he, who was known for taking stupid risks, dared to judge John's actions, made John equally mad. They were shouting at each other before they even entered the flat.

John tried to avoid fighting with Sherlock verbally, because his logic inevitably made him dizzy. So he decided to take the fight to a level on which they were equals.

And a fight it was. Even the term 'angry sex' would not cover it. There had been biting and scratching and fighting for the upper hand and in the end breathtaking release.

He watched Sherlock stir and mused if anybody won the argument and how long it would take before they were that angry at each other again.

Because John? Never afraid of a battle!

I am always busy writing/posting and therefore not commeting on some of your awesome stories out there. Sorry for that, I'll get to extended reading and commenting tomorrow. :)
You can blame Atlin, because she sets such a posting pace that I have trouble keeping up. :P
